Description of sales

1. Paris-Vincennes

  • Opodo Prix d’Amérique Sale :

This prestigious sale take place at the end of January at the heart of a rich programme benefitting from the presence of all trotting industry professionals : 

  • Day 1 (Thursday) : sale of stallions shares and select broodmares
  • Day 2 (Friday) : 2 sales of horses in training : Open sale from 11 a.m. and Prestige sale from 7 p.m.
The traditional exhibition "Expo des Etalons" will once again take place on the Friday. It hosts all the studs who have come to promote their stallions stations, their services and infrastructures as well as many industry professionals involved in the industry (tracks, feed, tack, etc...). 


2. Deauville

  • Spring Sale
    This second mixed sale includes horses of all ages and all types (broodmares, horses in training, yearlings and stallions shares) and also regularly features dispersals or part dispersals from major breeders. In March 2002, this sale featured in the record-breaking sale price of €3,000,000 for Késaco Phédo.
  • Selected Yearlings Sale
    This is a unique sale held in Deauville during the first week of September, with a catalogue featuring 500 select yearlings. The first two days will offer yearlings by proven stallions whereas the last day is dedicated to yearlings by promising young stallions.
  • September Sale
    This mixed sale combines broodmares, horses in training, unraced horses as well as yearlings. It often also hosts important dispersals or part dispersals.

3. Cabourg


  • Summer Sale
    This third mixed sale of the year is similar to the spring sale in that it includes horses in training, yearlings, broodmares and unraced horses. In 2011, the Prix du Cornulier's (Gr.1) winner Quif de Villeneuve changed hands at this sale for €145,000.
  • Autumn Sale
    This sixth sale includes horses in training, yearlings, broodmares and stallions shares. The second day is a sale for the Reduction Sale to the Ecurie des Charmes.
